Restoration with lime-cement based render of a masonry subject to rising damp

step1

Step 1

Remove the layer of deteriorated render affected by rising damp. Demolish at least 1 m above the rising damp line.
step2

Step 2

Once the render has been removed, clean and wash thoroughly. Once these works are completed, when the substrate is dry, apply a film of water to the masonry to be restored.
step4

Step 3

When the rendering has set, apply the coat of render ADESAN MONO LIGHT using the "wet on wet" technique.
step5

Step 4

Level and even out the coat of dehumidifying render ADESAN MONO LIGHT with a suitable rod.
step6

Step 5

Check that the render coat is at least 2.5 - 3 cm thick.
step7

Step 6

When the render coat has cured, level using the product ADESAN RASANTE.
step8

Step 7

When ADESAN RASANTE still has a plastic consistency, even out the levelling with a damp sponge for an optimal finish.

Once the skim coat has cured, it is possible to apply an ADECOR SIL PITTURA or ADECOR SIL RIVESTIMENTO finish
