Restoration with lime-cement based render
of a masonry subject to rising damp
Step 1
Remove the layer of
deteriorated render affected
by rising damp. Demolish at
least 1 m above the rising
damp line.
Step 2
Once the render has been
removed, clean and wash
thoroughly. Once these
works are completed, when
the substrate is dry, apply a
film of water to the masonry
to be restored.
Step 3
Apply ADESAN RINZAFFO evenly by hand
or by machine for a total
thickness of 5 mm.
Step 4
When the rendering has set,
apply the coat of render ADESAN TRASPIRANTE using the "wet on wet"
technique.
Step 5
Level and even out the coat
of dehumidifying render ADESAN TRASPIRANTE with a suitable rod.
Step 6
Check that the render coat is
at least 2.5 - 3 cm thick.
Step 7
When the render coat has
cured, level using the product ADESAN RASANTE.
Step 8
When ADESAN RASANTE still has a plastic consistency,
even out the levelling with a
damp sponge for an optimal
finish.
